Marine Verdez

Hi! I'm Marine, I'm 24 and a final-year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I'm looking for a homestay from around mid-September 2026 until June/July 2027.

My final year is quite unusual in that I'll be spending a lot of the year away from Cambridge on hospital placements, so I'm mainly looking for a comfortable home base rather than somewhere I'll be living full-time. I'll usually be away during the week, but would come back to Cambridge at weekends, on occasional weeknights, and for study weeks and exam periods.

I'm therefore particularly interested in a flexible and reasonably priced homestay arrangement, as I won't be using the room every night. I'm very open to living with a family, couple or individual, and would really enjoy being part of a friendly household when I'm around.

I'm clean, considerate and independent, and used to living in shared accommodation. I'm happy to be sociable and chat over dinner or a cup of tea, but I'm also respectful of people's space and routines. As a medic, I'll naturally have quite a busy schedule, so I'm generally pretty quiet and low-maintenance!

I'd ideally love to find somewhere that feels like a genuine home rather than simply a room to rent, while also having a little flexibility around my time away.
